Community Involvement

As a heavily involved parent in the schools, I managed the elementary school store & was Room Mom for many years. I also created and managed the Earth Quake Committee (CA), organized Teacher Appreciation Day, took part in the weekly elementary reading classes and was involved in other committees to help enrich the schools with updated play equipment, computers, landscaping etc. For six years I taught Religious Education classes and was awarded the highest-class attendance for three years in a row. I took part in and helped fund the community Special Olympics for children with disabilities and have been involved in Habitat for Humanity for many years.

Personal

I grew up on the Connecticut shoreline, went to S.C.S.U., then headed to Southern California. During my 32 years in Southern California I co-developed and managed a very successful Financial Planning Company. After 10 years I sold the company and dove into Real Estate while raising a family. After seeing the last child off to college, I returned home to CT. to be close to my parents in their golden years.

Experience

Previous to working in Real Estate I Co-Owned and managed a Financial Planning Company by the name of American Financial Network in Westlake Village CA. I then sold it to my partner and took 5 years to spend more time with my 3 children. Soon I was approached and asked that I use my numerous skills to enter into the world of Real Estate back in 2004. I realized this was my true passion and worked in Southern California successfully for 13 years before I relocated to the Southern Connecticut Shoreline. Along the way I worked in all kinds of markets from the best to the worst and always acquired the necessary credentials to get my clients through even the toughest of markets.
