Testimonials
"I wanted to formally thank you for all your assistance in the sale of the property at 17 Stella Drive. It was a delight and pleasure working with someone with such enthusiasm and a positive attitude. You were always available when I needed to reach you. Molisse Realty Group should value you as an employee and should be proud to have you as part of their team. I was impressed with how quickly we had offers shortly after listing with you. It was a privilege working with you and I would certainly recommend your services to others. Thank you again for everything."

Dear Halifaxians,
It is with the greatest pleasure that I am sharing this review for the Amazing Amy Troup. Yes, it's long but I would be remiss if I left any details out.
If you are in need of a realtor to Make Your Dreams Come Troup (and then some), look no further. ❤️
< ============================= >
This is perhaps the most significant and meaningful review I have ever written. While its content may appear over-the-top to some, it is by far the most fervent and merited recommendation I have ever made.
There can never be enough words to express the extraordinary impact Amy Troup has had on our lives.
Our gratitude, praise, respect, appreciation, and admiration for Amy as an individual, a professional, a beloved and treasured friend, a colleague, and our realtor is infinite. Even as I attempt to articulate our experiences with her, we know that these words can never encompass the full extent of all she has done for us and with us in each of those capacities.
We have known Amy for over 15 years as a friend, neighbor, and patriot. Last year (2022), my husband and I purchased land and began building a new home out of state. This past year (2023), we engaged Amy as our trusted realtor as we put our home up for sale after living 20+ years in Halifax.
There was never any question that we would work with Amy on the sale of our home, and it has proven to be one of the wisest decisions we have ever made.
During what was likely the most stressful time in our lives that extended for months, Amy "saved" us in countless ways.
She guided us with every step, supported us, reassured us, and calmed us. She skillfully coordinated all the details and made everything ultimately come together seamlessly. Throughout this grueling months-long process, she never once flinched, hesitated, stressed, or blinked an eye.
She never told us what we wanted to hear. She provided honest, professional, and forthright feedback as she expertly guided us in the direction that ultimately yielded the most successful outcome we could ever have imagined.
To say my husband and I encountered challenges along the way is a vast understatement.
Leading up to preparations for the house photo shoot, open house, and private showings, my husband and I faced innumerable difficulties and calamities akin to "the perfect storm," leaving us in alternating states of panic, overwhelm, and dispiritedness.
For weeks, we thought, "Really? Now this?? What else can go wrong?" During those trying weeks, there were innumerable occasions when Amy talked me down off the ledge (and off the Sagamore Bridge, lol), and she did so unhesitatingly and with serenity, sincerity, reassurance, and aplomb. Nothing phased, her, and with every obstacle we encountered, she unwaveringly responded, "Everything happens for a reason, in its own time and its own way; everything will work out; we will deal with it, manage it, and fix it."
And you know what? She was right.
I am a somewhat high-strung and "glass-half-empty" individual. Yet Amy, and this experience, taught me to believe in her advocacy of "let things unfold; they are doing so for a reason, in a time that it should; and all will be well." And it is true. As I reflect back, she was 100% correct. In retrospect, I can now see how each of these trials and tribulations did, in fact, happen when they did, why they did, and for a reason; a lesson for which I gratefully apply each day.
After these seemingly endless snags, it was finally, just before the photo shoot, open house, and private showings, that the "perfect storm" passed, and everything came together in "the perfect rainbow."
It was as if the Gods had been redirecting us for a purpose, and at long last, each step and detail fell into its proper "place" - just as Amy had wisely counseled.
During this lengthy and often arduous, tumultuous and emotional process, Amy repeatedly went above and beyond, exceeding all of our expectations. Each time we encountered an issue, large or small, she immediately said, "What can I do?" or, "I can do xyz to manage this," and always reminded us to LEAN ON HER - she and her plethora of solutions.
As we prepared for the listing, Amy constantly and thoroughly queried us on each and every detail of our home, reminding us that it was imperative that she "know" the home inside and out. Her thoroughness was, and is, remarkable.
After listing the home, Amy embarked on the open house and private showings. She was extremely cognizant of our angst over how our two high-strung kitties would manage the ebb, flow, and influx of strangers coming through the home. She noted their presence and shyness on the welcome sign, and ensured all parties also understood they should not be allowed outside. Throughout the open house and during each showing, Amy constantly maintained a "visual" on them, texting us updates on where they were hiding and how they seemed to be faring, and texting a photo of them in their "safe space" to reassure us.
Amy was intent on providing the most pristine open house and private showing occasions possible, so we collaborated on unique ways to stage the home, yielding details that undoubtedly helped us achieve the impeccable end result of the sale.
During the open house and showings, she always ensured visitors removed their shoes (even bringing in disposable booties for visitor convenience) to eliminage tracking any dirt or debris into the home, and directed visitors to enter through the garage to keep shoeware isolated.
During the open house, she encouraged all visitors to enjoy the expansive poolside deck and the beautiful weather, as it proved to be a glorious September day.
She kept us updated during the open house, and with each and every private showing as each day progressed.
She cared for and attended to each detail - whether minor or significant.
Throughout our experience, Amy unhesitatingly blessed and sustained us with her unique gifts of counsel, wisdom, and professionalism. Her integrity is infinite, and she has the kindest heart.
Amy is not only a dear friend, colleague, confidante, and savior; she is a part of our family.
My husband and I would never have entrusted this real estate transaction to anyone else in Massachusetts. We are eternally grateful to and for her.
Now living in Tennessee, we miss her dearly. We miss our daily chats, visits, and frequent contact. As I always say, "A day without Amy is like a day without sunshine."
Bob and I are beyond blessed to have Amy in our lives.
Should you entrust Amy with any real estate transaction, we know you will treasure her to the moon and back just as we do, and like us, respect and marvel at all she brings.
