Dear Brian,
I am writing to you to commend the excellent customer service I received from your associate and realtor Joe Amoroso.
Both my brother and I are co-executors of our mother's estate (Mum passed last year) and through Joe's help and assistance we were able to sell her house and close the sale in less than two months from when the house first went on the market!
From start to finish, Joe was there every step of the way making himself available any time of the day if questions arose, etc.. He was that fabulous blend of being an aggressive hustler who knew his numbers and his market and but also being caring, kind, patient, diplomatic and professional in his dealings with us.
His kind understanding was important to me because that house had been in our family for nearly sixty (60) years so selling it was like "losing a family member". It had originally belonged to my grandparents before being passed down to my mother so I kind of grew up in that house from visiting them over the years. So many memories were contained in that house from birthday parties and holiday dinners to just plain ole Sundays "visiting Gram and Gramps". Later, when Mum moved there it became her new home and more memories were created.
So you can see how hard it was for me to sell the house. I had no choice, we had to. Believe me, I cried while walking through each and every room saying "goodbye" to the house during that last couple of weeks before the closing date. Never again would I ever walk through that house! But sometime during my last day there, silently standing in a swath of sunlight pouring through the windows, I realized that although it was a beautiful house, it was just that...a house. Slowly, I came to the dawning realization that it was the memories that had been made there over the years was what had made the house feel so special. And those memories I could always, always keep with me safely tucked away in my heart. So, in essence, I wasn't losing anything really. Instead, I would always have a "piece of that house" with me.
I know that when Joe first met me to discuss selling the house, I was still cleaning out Mum's stuff and was a bit teary-eyed doing it. Just the thought of selling the house was really quite over-whelming for me. I was honest with Joe about my feelings regarding selling the house and how hard it was for me. My mother's one year anniversary of her passing was right around the time we put the house on the market so it really perpetuated the feeling of "loss" for me. Joe understood how hard it was for me and was just so kind and patient in his dealings with me, bless him! He made it so easy to work with him.
He was also spot-on in his numbers and knew when and how much the house would sell for, too. The house sold the very first day it was put on the market during an open house! Joe knew exactly what to do and how to do it! He got the job done and so quickly, too! Anyone who gets him as a realtor should count themselves very lucky, indeed!
If fact, I still see houses for sale on and around my street where I live that were put up for sale around the same time ours was and I say to myself every time: "they need to have Joe as their realtor!".
