Achievements

Lead member in the Kiwanis Club of Danbury to initiate the fund raising effort to purchase thermal imagining cameras for the Danbury Fire Department. This success story became the catalyst for the additional camera acquisitions by the State of Connecticut. Each town received a camera to support the fire departments with the latest technology.

Personal

Moved to Danbury in 1965 to accept a teaching position in the Danbury School System. Entered the Real Estate business in 1978 with Desoto Real Estate in Danbury.

Experience

Began selling houses in 1975. I was an agent associated with DeSoto Real Estate. My responsibilities were primary focused on my customers and clients. My additional responsibilities involved assisting new agents hosting in-house sales training meetings I was also assigned to be a manager of sales for our builders in the development of new home subdivisions. I supported and participated in our newly formed relocation department. Our clients included IBM, General Foods, General Motors, and American Can. I became affiliated with Coldwell Banker in Danbury in 1992. My duties were primarily providing services to buyers and sellers. While at Coldwell Banker I provided sales services for clients of Cartus Relocation. In 1999 I became affiliated with Century 21 Scalzo Real Estate. Once again I provided sales services to buyers and sellers. In 2020 I became a Broker agent with William Raveis R.E.

Member of the Danbury Board of Realtors. Currently a past president of the Danbury Club and a past Lt Governor of the New England Division of Kiwanis International. Currently senior advisor to Danbury High School Key Club.

Majored in Political Science and 'a minor in Economic Masters degree from Western Connecticut University majoring in Education K - 8 Sixth year from Southern Connecticut University In Driver and Traffic Safety Education.
