Catherine Cardell-Yarmosh never backs down from challenges - in fact, she thrives on them. Catherine graduated Marist College with a B.A. in English (Writing and Communications) before obtaining her Master of Arts in Speech Language Pathology from The University of Buffalo. For eighteen years, Catherine enjoyed a rewarding career as a Speech Pathologist and Rehabilitation Director, working primarily with adult/geriatric patients. Catherine joined the Fowler and Company team in 2014 and while her career shift to Real Estate might seem surprising at first glance, it was a natural transition for her...one that allowed her to meld her skills and interests in a meaningful and rewarding way. Catherine is a Fairfield resident who grew up in Westport and Trumbull, immersed in the real estate industry. Her mother was a real estate agent for forty years. Her father designed and built custom luxury homes. As a teen, Catherine was involved in real estate, with a part-time job assisting at a local brokerage. With her prior education and professional experience, it is not surprising that Catherine is a strong communicator and exceptional listener. Her compassion for others, and her ability to hone in on what is most meaningful to her clients, makes her a natural, effortless fit for every client. Her strong work ethic, honesty and integrity are qualities with universal appeal. Whatever your life stage, budget or objective, you will find that Catherine is devoted with her time and expertise. She thrives on the fact that no two days are ever the same - it's her favorite thing about her job. She is totally available to her clients, encouraging them to contact her at any time, and is always willing to shield them from any stress that she can absorb on their behalf. Catherine's satisfied clients span all industry niches - whether it be providing help with new construction, those looking to renovate, navigating the way with first time home buyers, downsizers, empty-nesters, she knows and has experienced it all. Catherine and her husband, Paul, live in the University area with their three daughters. Catherine moved to Fairfield for its excellent schools, restaurants, shopping, beaches and lakes. She is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys hiking the wooded trails around Lake Mohegan and boating on the Long Island Sound. Catherine is actively involved with her community. When she isn't outdoors, you can find her enjoying a show at the Fairfield Theater Company or volunteering with the PTA at Osborn Hill Elementary school. She is also a Girl Scout leader, member of the Gaelic American Club, and a member of the Junior Women's Club of Fairfield. When our ideal home became available, Catherine alerted us to it. If we had been one day later we might have missed it entirely. She was able to get us in immediately, and she was right: it was exactly what we wanted in a home. Throughout the negotiation and inspection, Catherine was our advocate. Of the multiple home purchases and sales experiences that we have ever had, the one that Catherine helped us through was BY FAR the most pleasant and was virtually stress-free. - Natalie R.
