"We interviewed agents last fall because Mom was thinking of selling her home, and Mom chose Eileen. Eileen kept in touch with us to let us know what was happening in the local real estate market, and in July she told us that there was another agent who had clients interested in Mom?s neighborhood; she asked if we were ready to list. We were. Eileen looked at the house, hired some local muscle to help stage it (as she supervised) and 30 minutes after we faxed her our paperwork, a potential buyer viewed it. That evening he brought his wife to see it. We listed it on the MLS the following day, and within 1-2 hours had an offer. Eileen was brilliant in her negotiation skills, and within 48 hours we agreed on a price that was significantly higher than other home owners had received (per sf) in the neighborhood. We filled out paperwork on July 22, listed on July 23, received an offer on July 26, and closed on Sept. 13. I cannot imagine the sale of Mom's home going more smoothly than it did.
