Achievements

Growing up I was taught to be strong, respectful and get a good education. I always enjoyed being involved in the PTA and running school events. I have a supportive husband to whom I have been married 38 years moving to Fairfield from NY almost 30 years ago and have 2 beautiful, successful and determined daughters. I love what I do in my life including gardening, planting, expanding my perennial garden and yearly vegetables, cooking, making up my own receipes or trying to recreate something that I have had or remembering a dish my mother would make. I especially enjoy decorating and rearranging furniture, looking at a home and seeing the potential of a fresh coat of paint and decorating. Decorating/staging is my second calling. Traveling and exploring new places has always been something I have also enjoyed. It is a joy keeping our Christmas Eve traditions alive with the feast of the seven fishes, gathering for hours cooking and preparing favorite dishes that we look forward to every year and gathering together giving thanks for all the blessing we have been given. Reading a good book for my book club and having that discussion with my friends that I have known for almost 30 years also means the world to me. Every Christmas I see a different group of ladies, for our annual cookie swap! Many of my friends are people I know through connections I made through the Fairfield School System and my daughters' involvement in sports and extracurricular activities.
