Bio

Yvonne’s aim is to love God and love people. She began her real estate career in the Washington, DC area, having lived in both Maryland and Old Town Alexandria, Virginia. In 1992, she and her husband Michael relocated to the Lowcountry where they have established a vibrant and diverse real estate following. Yvonne is a past award recipient of "Business and Professional Woman of The Year," Washington, DC. In her 30+ years as a real estate broker, Yvonne has helped hundreds of families find their perfect property. In the process, every one of them, from first-time homebuyers to waterfront and oceanfront clients, have received the same professional and personal attention. Yvonne has travelled extensively, but her most rewarding excursion was a three-and-a-half year sabbatical to the world’s 10th poorest country – Madagascar. Accepting the mantel of the “Great Commission” (Matt. 28:19), Michael and Yvonne served “the least of these,” joyfully helping the poorest of the poor find a hope and a future. Part of their ministry birthed over 30 small businesses, reconstruction of several schools and homes destroyed by Cyclone Ava and assisting hundreds in acute medical need; praise God. Their work there is not finished as the foundations for an agricultural-business school based on Kingdom of Heaven principals is now being laid collaborating with a dedicated Malagasy team. Upon returning to Hilton Head Island/Bluffton, Yvonne’s passion to help others has been honed and intensified. Her service-oriented approach is based on the adage, “…people don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.” “My priorities,” says Yvonne, “are to love the Lord, love my husband, love my family, love others and to help people realize their hopes and dreams.”
