Community Involvement

Community service is vitally important, and my family and I enjoy being involved. For years I have been on a team of designers for Marshfield High School's Grad Nite Live. It is a fabulous program and I hope it continues for future graduates!

Niche Marketing

Starting my career in 1995 I was most interested in antique houses. Although I never identified as an antique home specialist, I have invested time into seminars and research to better understand the antique home market. Oddly, I have a real love of a mid-century modern or contemporary house as well!

Education

I grew up in the East Oak Lane section of Philadelphia and graduated from Cardinal Dougherty HS. I attended Boston College, took classes at Northeastern University and UMass Boston. As a Realtor I completed courses to achieve a GRI (Graduate, Realtor Institute) and CBR (Certified Buyer Representative)

Bio

I bought my first home in Marshfield in 1993. The area was so beautiful and offered access to the beach, the North River and miles of trailed woodlands. I felt so lucky to have landed in the South Shore. This fueled a desire to give up a daily commute into Boston and open a business closer to home. I grew up in Philadelphia where my father was a carpenter. The smell of sawdust still makes me happy. I met my husband in Boston, where I owned a store on Newbury Street and was a professional picture framer. He happened to be a home inspector, so we talked a lot about houses. A career in real estate was a natural choice. I like helping people, the beauty of the South Shore, and the charm and character of houses. Being a Realtor combines all three. The purchase of my second home was an eye-opening experience. Of course, I had been assisting my clients in selling and buying property for years, but I had forgotten the stress it can create. I focus on being there through the whole process for my clients. My goal is forming a connection and some of my dearest friendships have been made through past client relationships.
