Bio

I grew up in the small town of South Hill, Virginia. I attended Radford University and since Virginia Tech was twenty minutes away I became a huge fan of Va. Tech football, Go Hokies! I graduated Radford in 1996 and came to Beaufort, SC. with an opportunity to manage a business with over 100 employees. I was quite successful in those early years particularly by meeting my wife Samantha. We just celebrated our 25th anniversary. I had success in business as well and was able to purchase that business and opened another location in Bluffton with the partnership of David Dulaney in 2004. David and I sold those businesses and decided to go into real estate. It has been better than awesome not having employees. I learned some important lessons in business that I have carried over into real estate. I answer phone calls and text messages immediately because putting something off just gets you behind. Be accessible at all times a quick response may save someone hours of deliberation. Be prompt and honest. For years my mantra was ?put the customer first and you will succeed? that has worked well as a real estate agent as my clients current and past come first. Hobbies:I have enjoyed fishing since I was a child. That?s one thing I really love about this area, the water. I used to fish mostly offshore and king mackerel tournaments but now fish inshore and have several boats. My kids grew up enjoying the water too. They love tubing, skiing, and fishing. I recently began golfing with a purpose to improve. I am a member of Riverton Pointe Golf Club and have really enjoyed going out when I complete my work, playing nine holes before it gets dark. It?s beautiful, fun, frustrating, and relaxing. Not sure how that goes together but it is for me. Family: I have three wonderful daughters the oldest married and is an Insurance agency manager is in Temecula California with two granddaughters ages 12 and 8. The middle daughter is married and a nurse at Beaufort memorial (graduated from Clemson) with a 1 year old girl and one on the way. My youngest graduates with her nursing degree next month. Samantha my wife is my closest friend and the best person I know. Music, I prefer 80?s/90?s ? Def Leopard, Metallica, Garth Brooks, Hootie and the Blowfish,and U2 to name a few. I have experienced many of life?s stages and believe that helps me understand my clients and enables me to give quality advice. I respect the Police and believe we are blessed to live in America and extremely lucky to live in the best place in America.
