About Cheryl Sharpe

Bio

I obtained my real estate license in 1982 before turning to a career in nursing. I have been a registered nurse providing health care coordination for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities within our community for 30 years. I am an advocate for the inclusion of the people I support into the greater community. Their voices are not always the loudest so we have to learn to listen harder and add our voices to theirs. Nursing requires organization, effective time management and attention to detail. I am a caregiver at heart and nursing has been a great career. I have found that I am able to use that same sensibility and skill set in real estate. Whether it is making sure that the tenants who live in my investment properties are provided the very best service, helping a buyer find the right property that they can call home, or working with a seller to develop an effective marketing strategy, I have the heart of a teacher and want to make sure that my clients understand the process from start to finish. My husband and I have lived, worked and raised our four children in the Pioneer Valley for over 40 years. They attended local schools and were very involved in sports, music and theater. There are so many positive activities for kids to do (adults too) in this community. I enjoy power walking, working out and traveling the world with my husband, world class jazz bassist Avery Sharpe, to watch him perform. We currently live in Plainfield as empty nesters.
