About Deb Payson

Personal

I am honored and thrilled to work for the #1 family owned brokerage. Started in 1974 over a grocery store, Bill Raveis has devoted his life to growing agents and serving clients. While I don't have a typical real estate background, I love using my unique career experience to help our agents achieve a strong work-life balance while growing their business. I got my start working in Congress on legislation, and moved to Massachusetts and worked for the Massachusetts Hospital Association, Salem Hospital and the Essex National Heritage Association. I also served as Executive Director of the Marblehead Chamber of Commerce, where I enjoyed working with the local business community. Prior to William Raveis, I had an incredible job helping build support for unique and innovative projects at MIT. I was Director of Strategy & Outreach at the MIT International Design Center, a multi-disciplinary community of faculty, researchers, labs and students from across all five schools at MIT. I am thankful to be a mom to 3 amazing kids + a foster son & 4 dogs and 2 cats (all rescues).

Community Involvement

- volunteer with a foster teen via the Plummer Home - animal rescuer - Board Member, Abbot Public Library - Rotarian, Marblehead Rotary Club - former member of the Marblehead Conservation Commission
