"As a result of a corporate transfer, my wife and I relocated to South Florida on rather short notice. Because my company has a major Residential Real Estate Division, it was suggested that we sell our Trumbull home through them. As part of this arrangement the company would cover our closing costs, which we thought was a pretty good deal. We worked with a large corporate Real Estate Company and 17 months later had very few showings and no serious offers. Before moving to Florida we would often receive marketing pieces from a Real Estate agent named Jay Cannone. My wife and I would see this name everywhere and would occasionally mention that if we ever sold our home we would use this guy. We finally decided, as we entered month 18 that something had to change. So we callled Jay and within 11 days we had 4 showings and on day 12 our house was sold. Had we called Jay from the on-set we believe he would have saved us a significant amount of money and months of agony.
