About Lisa Asendorf

Experience

Thanks to Lisa's past careers, she was able to easily segue into the residential real estate business. Lisa was a Lease Administrator/Licensed Paralegal in commercial real estate and a financial advisor for nine years with Advest in Falmouth. Although not a career, she designed and was the general contractor of her family's "green," water-front home on Mill Rd in Falmouth. She draws from her past bringing a wealth of knowledge to her clients; understanding the ins and outs of legal ease, financial strategy, local zoning and conservation rules. Lisa's goal with every client is to make them feel they are her only client. Integrity, knowledge and enthusiasm, what you will experience when working with Lisa. It is her goal to take away the stress and present your home in the most perfect fashion possible. So each prospective purchaser leaves feeling more excited about your home than when they arrived.

Personal

Lisa was born and raised in Falmouth and is a proud third generation native. She grew up on Siders Lane just off of the Village Green in Falmouth. She is a "downtown" girl that knew all the shop owners as early as 5 years old as she had the freedom to walk to and from school starting in Kindergarten! Her Peterson family was one of the largest in town with 14 aunts and uncles and 69 first cousins! Philanthropic work is of utmost importance to Lisa, committing decades to local charities. In 2003, she founded Wings for Falmouth Families (WFFF) - which, as of 2022, has provided $350,000 to local families during a medical crisis or tragedy; there is also a large endowment fund to ensure the longevity of the charity. Lisa saw a need in the community. She had no experience in starting a charity and worked feverishly for three years fundraising and building awareness. In the fourth year, she gathered others whom she trusted to serve on the board...and the rest is history. Click tab above for more information. Lisa's other creative side is architectural design. She designed and was the General Contractor of her family home on Mill Rd. The home is a HERS energy-efficient home that is just shy of being a passive home. Thanks to this, she is very knowledgeable in local zoning, green building, solar energy and conservation commission rules. As to Lisa's personality: One of her greatest strengths is that she doesn't wait around. When there is a need, she will be the first one to take action; if there is a problem, she is going to solve it. A proactive personality enables her to accomplish much. FAMILY Lisa is married to Eric Asendorf, a top-producing financial advisor with Janney, Montgomery Scott in Falmouth. She has two daughters, two step-sons, a son- and two daughters-in-law, and is the proud grandmother of two. INTERESTS - Lisa enjoys traveling throughout the world. She believes travel is the greatest educator. - Tennis, gardening, long walks, boating, sudoku, crossword and jigsaw puzzles. - Most importantly, spending time with family and friends.
