Education

Liz is a product of the Manchester Public School system. Early identified as a gifted-rebel hybrid, she was much beloved by teachers and administrators who tried and failed to make a giant star shaped peg fit into the small round hole of conformity. In 2010 Liz felt that raising her sons and running her own business was not quite chaotic enough so she enrolled at Manchester Community College. While her home and work life were very fulfilling, she craved the intellectual stimulation of academia. Initially taking 4 classes per semester, she has pared it down to 1 class per semester and finds herself on the 8 year plan for the 2 year associates degree. She has a 3.95 lifetime GPA and may never get over that A- in English 101.

Personal

Liz is a busy mother to her boys and pups. Outnumbered by these blessings in her life, Liz rules with a giant smile rather than an iron fist; it's a nice way to be in charge. In her nearly non-existent spare time she likes to hike, be near the water, and enjoys amateur bird watching. Her favorite local siting was a Scarlet Tanager at the Ferguson Reservoir in Manchester. Liz loves to cook as well as eat with friends and family. She is an avid reader of non-fiction, watcher of documentaries and likes to play cards and board games. She will give you a run for your money playing Scrabble® but she WILL beat you at Boggle®.
