Real estate agent Melinda Markland has a passion for the North Fork and realizes how lucky she is to have the opportunity to live in paradise. She has the organization and discipline to get the job done. Melinda is multi-faceted and business oriented: important skills to anyone buying or selling real estate. During her many years as a real estate professional on Long Island, she earned a designation as Certified Buyer Agent, to better apply her passion for and knowledge of real estate for the benefit of so many of her clients. A part-time resident of the North Fork her entire life, originally from the Gold Coast of Long Island, Melinda decided to settle permanently in this beautiful region in 2001. She is energized by the beauty of Peconic Bay,Farms,fresh produce and the four season climate. Her local knowledge of the region will be appreciated by her customers. She graduated from CW Post College with a BA in Business and has been very active in the community. Her varied background includes Ice Skating Coach and the Hotel/Motel hospitality businesses. Melinda shares her knowledge of the North Fork and all attractions of the eastern end of Long Island. She is a member of the Hamptons and North Fork Realtors Association, National and New York State Associations of Realtors, and of USFSA - United States Figure Skating Association, the PSA - Professional Skater Association and ISF - Ice Skating Institute. Melinda is an avid dog enthusiast and works with specially trained dogs.
