In 2019, I was fresh out of law school, ready to conquer the legal world in Brazil. But then, a handsome blond American swept me off my feet (and onto a plane!). Leaving behind my life and language was tough, but I quickly fell head over heels - for my husband and for America. I was determined to embrace it all and give back to the place that had welcomed me with open arms. We initially settled in Dallas, Texas, but in 2021, after Covid opened up new possibilities to live anywhere, we took a road trip to Venice, Florida. That very weekend, we found ourselves buying a home in Wellen Park! My first and lasting impression of Southwest Florida, with its vibrant communities and stunning natural beauty, was that this was the perfect place for us - my soulmate's homeland and an introvert's paradise. Though I cherish my quiet time tending to my native plant garden, birdwatching, reading, or exploring nature, I also have a deep love for people. I find immense joy in connecting with others and sharing experiences. I'm even a proud volunteer with the UF IFAS Master Gardener Program, helping others cultivate their own love for Florida's breathtaking environment. This land and its people have captured my heart. My journey has given me a deep appreciation for the opportunities and warmth that America offers. Now, as a realtor, I'm passionate about helping others find their own sense of belonging and possibility here in Southwest Florida.
