Prior to joining William Raveis, Monica was a licensed real estate agent with Keller Williams Prestige Properties covering Fairfield County, executing on over $4.5 million of real estate transactions in the last 12 months. She began her real estate career in 2014 with Citi Habitats in the West Village of New York City, advising clients in one of the most competitive real estate markets in the world. Monica grew up in the Midwest, in a lovely Illinois town called Lake Forest. She attended Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, graduating with a BSBA degree in Financial Analysis. Upon graduation, Monica went to work in the Supply Chain, specifically Strategic Sourcing at Union Pacific Railroad. Her role with the company entailed negotiating contracts for a variety of services totaling more than $250 million annually. She was subsequently pursued by PepsiCo in Chicago, where she served on the Walgreens account and managed 8,000 stores and over $500 million in sales. Prior to relocating to New York City in 2014, Monica was called back to Union Pacific for her negotiating and analytical expertise, tasked with restoring and revitalizing intermodal operation contracts over a two-year period; a task she completed in only six months, resulting in her promotion to head buyer of locomotive and railcar material. Monica has always gravitated to challenging tasks, completing them with hard work, dedication, communication and transparency. Her background in Financial Analysis, experience in Corporate America with Fortune 500 companies, strong negotiating record and hard work ethic make Monica a skilled and well-rounded professional in the real estate industry. Outside of her career, Monica has been actively involved in several charitable organizations including March of Dimes and the Greenwich Hospital Foundation. She currently resides in Fairfield County with her husband, four-year old son, two-year old daughter and their three dogs, Peanut the Maltese, Casper Jr. the Maltipoo, and Luna the Bernedoodle.
