I was very happy that I chose Debbie Kuhfahl to list my condo in Harwich Port. She told me that she felt she could sell anything and I liked her confidence from the get-go. Her ability to make an attractive, concise presentation swiftly (as I wanted it listed as soon as I could) is a testament to her work ethic, expertise and great design eye. Her ability to partnership with me to maximize the listing's potential was very important as I had lived at the complex at one time and felt I knew what qualities would be appealing and why this unit would be a good purchase for someone. She listened when I gave her some input into the narrative and changed the cover photo when I thought another one would be more inviting.
Debbie also pushed me gently to empty out a packed 300sq ft attached storage shed to highlight its importance and showcase what a valuable asset that would be to a potential buyer. I did not think we needed a video, but boy was I wrong. It came out great, was a necessity with Covid and we both received numerous accolades! Thank you for not listening to me at that moment Deb!
She kept me updated every step of the way; number of showings, positive and negative feedback, market trends and next steps.
We had some challenges with offers that came in. She was able to guide me into feeling comfortable at every turn and decision I had to make. When the final and best one came in, she was able to turn a sow's ear into a silk purse by marketing the shed as a potential "other" room due to the size of it and it already residing on a concrete foundation. She embraced the challenges that came along with this including first obtaining trustee written approval to turn this old shed into a beautiful sunroom with deck and small hot tub which now made this unit desirable to our buyer. Somewhat detailed design plans had to be submitted to the trustees also quickly for a fast turnaround. She worked well with the buyer's agent all along this journey.
Her patience, poise and positivity never faltered which made me feel more secure in what was also a difficult transaction emotionally for me. This was my mother's home and she had recently passed away.
