About Riitta Jaakkola

A big thank you to Riitta Jaakkola for finding the right apartment for me ...and at the right price!

I'm writing this in August, 2021. The market has been crazy...both for purchases and rentals of real estate.
Also, I was not an easy customer: I wasn't even sure which town to target, or if I wanted a one or two-bedroom.
All I knew was that I wanted a place that was quiet, fit my budget, and had something charming about it.
I had already considered a slew of other apartments in New Canaan as well as Norwalk, Stamford, Fairfield, Greenwich.. and wasn't falling in love.

Riitta moved fast. I rented one of the first two places she showed me. Maybe it's a European thing, :) , but she understands "charm" in a house or apartment.
When I chose the place I wanted in New Canaan, she worked hard to defend my interests in negotiations, paid attention to details,
followed up regularly by email and text, and photographed anything that might not be 100%. All with enthusiasm, good humor, and good judgement.
